The 2021 inauguration of Joe Biden as American 45th president was historical in many ways, all triggered by the ousted incumbent who led a violent attack on the capitol and tried to stop the traditional transfer. He also did not attend. This did not look good for the country and was certainly disrespectful for the office of commander in chief. This time around, all the former US presidents have declared their intent to attend without prejudice, simply because it is the most respectful action to show the people of the country and the world.

Are they wrong for their intent?

There are many people of the land who are mad about their intent. They believe the ex guys are fearful of the revenge action which may be leveled against them by a person renowned for instigating hate and violence, and one who has spouted such intentions during the campaign. Many think the plan to attend is bowing and kissing the ring, just as Zuckerburg of META and many big mass media agencies have thrown millions at the feet of the incoming POTUS.

Joe Biden

Of course I am," Biden said in an interview with the Meidas Touch network. "The only president ever to avoid an inauguration is the guy that's about to be inaugurated."

Barack Obama

Former President Barack Obama is set to attend the inauguration. His wife, former First Lady Michelle Obama, will not, according to an announcement by the Office of Barack and Michelle Obama.

George Bush

George W. Bush's office confirmed that the former president and former First Lady Laura Bush will attend Trump's inauguration.

Bill Clinton

The Associated Press reported that Bill and Hillary Clinton will attend the inauguration. USA TODAY has reached out to the Clinton Foundation to confirm the report but did not receive an immediate response.
